My reclassification is official today. That is a PC way of saying promotion, why not just say promotion, oh well, who cares! I got it.
I have no new info to post today, although I do have new stuff... I spent all night last night entering new stuff from the "hints" that I got on Ancestry.com. I only added them, and their sources, when I already knew or pretty much knew, the info to be true.
I am going to spend tonight knitting, because I have the knitting group tomorrow, so I must, but I will write letters to all of my family to tell them that I want to be the record keeper. One of the pod casts I listened to, said to do this, so that people will be more likely to send inf they have to you, or me, as it were...I also want to write to Viki, my Dad's widow, but I think that might be tricky. She has remarried, and I am not sure how that will go over. Her new husband seems nice, we are Face Book friends, so... I hope that if I ask, she has the stuff, and that she will find it and send it, however, I have already asked for his ashes, and she was sketchy about it. I have a bad feeling, that she doesn't have anything anymore, if she tossed it in depression, that will be t bed, since Randy has two daughters and three grand kids who would have appreciated the stuff, and if her evil daughter got rid of it... Well, them's fightin' words, as it were...
Anyhow, I will send off letters by this Friday, I hope!
