Last day of the month... No blog today, things are CRAZY at the office. I will say this, last night I went thru and cleaned up the BISHOP line, children and grandchildren, on the Ancestry app, all the way thru Joshua W BISHOP b. 1753. I have devised a new way to keep track of the way that I am going thru it all, duplicates and whatnot. I try not to work on it to much at home at night, because I get totally lost in it and the next thing that I know, it is 11:00 at night!

So, off for now, back to work, files files and more files!!!

Well, I had a brilliant idea on how to post whole family group sheets at once, and it did not work, and as I am out of time to work on this issue, I must deal with the fact that I am not going to be able to post anything substancial today...

I am oeverheated here in my office, so I must take a little walk outside and hope that helps!

Today I have seriously started work on my iBook! I have done a page on my father, mother, and his siblings. I want to add way more personal information, stories, and pictures, etc. Right now, I have to double check a lot of dates, I just kind of went on memory. I also need to redownload a lot of the pics that I sent to Picassa, so that I can add them. I want this to be more a memory book than a history book.

Maybe I will ask family to write memories, that I can add. Tha would be neat. Yeah, I think that I will do that. That can be in the plea letter that I still need to work on...

Maybe I should do that now! I think that I will...

Today, I found my happy journal, well it was last night I think, and Heather found it for me, nonetheless, I have it back. I am going to do all of my notes in it from now on. I already transcribed what I had in other places into it. I am going to date it and keep track of my Ancestry hints and other things as well...

I need to scan in my marriage and divorce papers to post on my profile on Ancestry. I also have my parents wedding announcement... If I can figure out how to scan it without harming it, I will post that too!

I have not been on Ancestry much today. Today is my late day and I have lots to do so that I can leave by 4:00! Let the weekend begin, in 2 hours and 22 minutes!

Hahaha! I just found out that my Gramma Inez McCARTY, was not the first McCARTY to marry a BISHOP!

Back in Ireland, back in the 1700's Peter McCARTY was born, and in 1793 in Maryland, USA, Elizabeth BISHOP was born. I do not have a date as to when they married, but they did have 5 children.

The difference is, in the 1900's the lady was the McCARTY, and the gentleman was the BISHOP, and they have 4 kids, one of which was my Daddy! :)

And, now for today's update...

UPGRADE!!!
On the Ancestry.com website. Makes it easier to see the people with hints. Also shows how many hints, but not how many people with hints. I am not crazy about the upgrade. It seems to be causing lots of duplicates in my tree. I have decided to stop messing with it for today and go back tomorrow and thin out the duplicates. That ought to be fun. This is like the third time that I have done this in a serious way!

That is really the entire update for today!
