So, I just made a discovery, based on a photo, nothing else, I have found that I have a black ancestor. I am not sure how this makes her my great grand aunt, from this diagram, she looks like a great great grandmother... Ok, I just looked at my trees. Laura Bell and Mary Francis (my great grandmother) were half sisters... They had the same mother... Anyhow, that is my big discovery for the day. She is not my direct line, but I am intrigued, so I will follow her line and see where it leads me!
